Space flight heritage in real conditions and environment is required to de-risk innovations such as new technologies, products, concepts, architectures, and operations techniques for unique or recurrent, institutional or commercial missions. To ensure EU non-dependence and competitiveness in technologies, the EU offers the In-Orbit Demonstration/Validation (IOD/IOV) programme.
A new Call for Expression of Interest for In-Orbit Demonstration and Validation Experiments is now open for application. This time, two parallel Calls for Expression of Interest are available to gather experiments that could be considered for IOD/IOV actions that cover aggregation, if needed, launch services and operations. An application can be submitted for
- IOD/IOV Experiments needing aggregation;
- Ready-to-Fly IOD/IOV satellites.
The call is open for application until May 31st 2026. The next cut-off date is May 31st 2023, at 18:00 Brussels time. All relevant information and documents can be found here.
Don’t forget to register for the webinar on May 11th to get a detailed overview of the opportunities and the chance to ask questions.
