Save the date: Workshop on closing the skills gap to shape the future of EU Space
We are pleased to announce an upcoming online workshop on education and skills for EU Space, focusing on offer and needs. This workshop will be held online on 31 May from 9:00 to 12:00 CEST and is targeted towards industry, academia, RTOs, public institutions and administrations, and other interested parties.
The objective of the workshop is to present and discuss the results from the DG DEFIS study, performed in the context of STARS*EU, on “Education and skills for space in the EU”. This study analysed available curricula, courses, and standards. It also evaluated the required skills in the space R&I and industrial sectors. The identified skills gaps serve as a starting point for the workshop’s discussion. The workshop aims to validate these gaps and to uncover any others that may have been overlooked or not previously considered.
In fact, this event will provide a platform for stakeholders to engage in discussions and share their perspectives on the current state of education and skills in the space industry. Do not miss out on this excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of education and skills in the space ecosystem and make a positive impact on the future of space research.
Interested? Register here and be part of the discussion on current gaps and potential actions to address them.
